David A. Breidenstein, 59, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle. He was born on April 19, 1958 in Somerville, NJ, and is a son of Lemuel W. Breidenstein of Honesdale and the late Janet (Zablocky) Walling.

David was a US Navy veteran. He worked many years in construction and most recently as a forklift driver.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn N. (Chang) Breidenstein, his siblings; Mark Breidenstein, Andrew Fox, Anthony Fox, Allison Breidenstein Gregory and Eric Breidenstein, his maternal grandmother, Geneva Zablocky Hallisey of Bloomsburg, two aunts; Betty Zablocky (and her husband, John) Ebersole of Mechanicsburg and Lucille Zablocky (and her husband, Larry) Ikeler of Parkton, MD.

Services and burial will be private in Bloomsburg. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.
