David W. Bass, 55, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his home. He was born on December 12, 1961 in Cambridge, Mass., and is a son of Joan (Hatchey) Bass of Cambridge and the late Frederick Bass.

David had worked in food service many years. He loved toexercise and in his younger years he enjoyed boxing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Barbara (Moran) Bass, one brother, Fred Bass of Somerville, Mass., one sister, Linda Cloherty of Billerica, Mass., one step-son, Joel Michelangelo of Rockland, Mass., one step-daughter, Angela Doyle of Weymouth, Mass., four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
