Dana L. Blanchard, 73, of Carlisle passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Thornwald Home. She was born on October 29, 1950, in North Middleton Township, and was the daughter of the late Alan J. Blanchard and Dorothy Mae (Minnich) Blanchard.

Dana attended Big Spring schools in Newville until age 12 when she suffered from encephalitis. She was a lifelong member of Carlisle First United Church of Christ.

Dana is survived by her step-brother Alan F. & his wife Ann Blanchard of Lake Wales, FL, her cousin Paul & his wife Marilyn Steckel of Slatington, PA, her cousin Frederick Steckel of Colorado Springs, CO, and her second cousin Nancy Mayer of Haddonfield, NJ.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday October 29, 2024, at Westminster Cemetery in Carlisle.
