Dale R. McCullough, Jr., 87, of Carlisle, died on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Thornwald Home in Carlisle.  He was born on May 25, 1933 in Ford City and was a son of the late Dale F. McCullough and Frances (Harmon) McCullough and was married to the late Mary Ann (Kunst) McCullough who died May 9, 2018.

Dale was a graduate of Ford City High School.  He retired from PPG Industries after many years of service as a maintenance mechanic.  Dale was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlisle.

He is survived by three daughters, Susan C. Barrick of Mechanicsburg, Shirley A. (husband, James) Zygmunt of Florida and Lois G. (husband, Paul) Bear of Carlisle, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Dale R. McCullough, III and John Arthur McCullough, one son-in-law Douglas Barrick and one grandson Randall E. Rickrode, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Patrick's New Catholic Cemetery in North Middleton Twp. with Deacon Bryan Salzman officiating. www.EwingBrothers.com
