Cornelius Foster Kuntz Jr., 88, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday January 19, 2026, at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle with family by his side. He was born on May 24, 1937, in Gardners, Pa and was the son of the late Cornelius Foster Kuntz Sr and Evelyn C. (Harry) Kuntz.

Cornelius graduated from Big Spring High School with the class of 1956. He worked at Masland Carpet, H & R Block, Graver's Accounting and other various jobs before starting his own business, Kuntz Accounting Service which he operated for nearly three decades before he retired.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan L. Kuntz on December 31, 2019. They were married for 60 years. He is survived by their children, Keith (Pat) Kuntz of Dillsburg, Pa.; Karen (John) Bueche of Avon Lake Ohio; and Kathy (Don) Ward of Carlisle, Pa. and by two sisters, Beverly Negley of Newville, Pa. and Udora Stought of Carlisle, Pa, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Lunna Evans and his brother Delanor "Demps" Kuntz Sr.

Also surviving are his grandchildren Tabatha (Shaun) Holtry, Chase (Brittany) Weigle, Jeff Kuntz, Jared Kuntz and Gwendolyn Bueche; and four great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday January 26, 2026, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home 630 S. Hanover Street, Carlisle. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
