Constance S. "Connie" Young, 65, of Carlisle, passed to eternal life on Monday, July 29, 2013, at her home with loving family by her side. She was born Aug. 10, 1947, in Easton, the daughter of Joseph J. Dopsovic of Carlisle and the late Theresa (Liero) Dopsovic.

Connie was a 1965 graduate of Pen Argyl High School. She was a loving homemaker and had worked several years as a teller for M & T Bank on Spring Garden St., Carlisle. Connie was a faithful and active member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Carlisle, where she was an usher and member of the Altar Guild. Connie was a member of PEO, various soldier support organizations and the Officer's Wives Club.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Col (Ret) Terry J. Young, USA, her daughter, Leigh M. Young of Carlisle, two sons; Major Christopher T. Young, USA (and his wife, Julia) of Colorado Springs, CO and Major Thomas J. Young, USAF (and his wife, Lauren) of San Antonio, TX, one brother, Richard Dopsovic of Bay Shore, NY, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Connie was predeceased by herbrother, Thomas Dopsovic.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at 11 a.m. in St. John's Episcopal Church, On the Square in Carlisle, with Rev. Dr. Mark A. Scheneman officiating. Inurnment will be in St. John's Chapel of the Good Shepherd Columbarium. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church parish hall for a time of fellowship. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
