Constance G. "Connie" Meredith, 85, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in the South Mountain Restoration Center, Franklin County. She was born on May 23, 1932 in Carlisle, and was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Wolf) Grove and was the widow of William J. Meredith, who passed away on April 13, 2013.

Connie graduated from Carlisle High School. She had worked several years at the former C. H. Masland & Sons and at the Lamberton Middle School cafeteria, both of Carlisle. Connie was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons; William R. Meredith of Gardners and Stephen D. Meredith of Mechanicsburg, two grandchildren; Jennifer Meredith and Michael and his fiancé, Kelly Hancock and five great-grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by one grandson, Ryan Meredith, one daughter-in-law, Norma (Crooks) Meredith and one brother, James Grove.

A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Rev.
