Clyde K. Rudy, Jr., 90, of Carlisle, died on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Thornwald Home in Carlisle.  He was born on September 29, 1928 in Ridley Park, Pa. and was the son of the late Clyde K. Rudy, Sr. and Eva Lelia (Whetstone) Rudy.

Clyde moved with his parents from Bedford County to Middlesex Township in 1945.  He was a 1946 graduate of Carlisle High School and in 1953 graduated from the Dept. of the Air Force Aircraft Mechanic School.  He worked for the Dept. of Defense (formerly Olmstead Air Force Base and New Cumberland Army Depot) retiring as a Quality Control Technician after 34 years of service.  Clyde was a member of Carlisle First Church of God and the National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees.  He enjoyed working outdoors and woodworking.  He and his wife greatly enjoyed much travel with RV's to visit relatives and sights of this great country and Canada.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary P. (Gutshall) Rudy and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
