Obituary

Clyde R. "Butch" Feister, 71, of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at UPMC Carlisle.  He was born on May 11, 1951, in Carlisle and was a son of the late Clyde E. Feister and Betty A. (Slusser) (husband Ray L.) Sweeney.

Clyde earned his GED and formerly worked for 17 years with Ziegler Brothers Inc. in Gardners as a dispatcher.  He enjoyed the great outdoors of Pennsylvania.  Clyde was of Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Janet M. (O'Rourke) Feister, three sons, David Lee (Kelly) Feister of Aspers, Jonathan R. Feister and Damon R. Feister, both of Mt. Holly Springs, two brothers, Mark Sweeney and Benjamin Sweeney, four sisters, Linda Walker, Shila Mathna, Rose Unger and Charlene March, three grandchildren, Eric Feister, Logan Feister and Dolyn Feister and several nieces and nephews.  Clyde was preceded in death by one brother Joseph Sweeney and one sister Deborah Group.

Funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor Jim Hawk officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.  A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.  www.Since1853.com.
