Clara Heberlig, 97, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019. She was the daughter of Sarah Smith and James Albert Shatto of Newville.

She worked at Carlisle Plaza Mall for 12 years at the pretzel stand and two years at the peanut shack and also did volunteer work for years at the Carlisle Hospital. She enjoyed her yard and cat. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Carlisle. It was time for her to go on and meet her Lord and Savior.

Her husband passed away on the 16th day of August 1984. She is survived by a son, Duane Heberlig and 5 deceased children, James Heberlig, Audrey Baker, Dennis Heberlig, Gloria Sunday and Kim Heberlig.  She also has 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 12 step great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will begin at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 in the Westminster Memorial Gardens, 1159 Newville Rd., Carlisle.  www.Since1853.com
