Christopher E. Short, 25, of Newville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at home.  He was born on April 30, 1993 in Harrisburg and is a son of Sherry K. Short (companion, Matt Shue) of Carlisle and Robert W. Short, Sr. (wife, Michelle) of Mt. Holly Springs.

Christopher graduated from Carlisle High School with the Class of 2011.  He also graduated for the Carlisle Culinary Arts Program.  Christopher was currently employed with D. B. Schenker in Carlisle as an Apple repair technician.  He loved listening to music and also enjoyed cooking.  Christopher was of the United Methodist faith.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Robert W. Short, Jr. (wife, Courtney), one step-sister, Jessie P. Shue and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one infant sister, Jenniffer L. Short.

A viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Matt Plant officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.  www.Since1853.com.
