Christopher T. Jonas, 50, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Hershey Medical Center.  He was born on September 13, 1973, in Jasper, Texas and is a son of Werner F. Jonas of Mechanicsburg and the late Pamela (Smith) Jonas.

Chris graduated from Shippensburg High School with the Class of 1992.  He formerly worked as a Big-Rig Truck Driver for several local companies.  Chris was a volunteer fire fighter for many years with Union Fire Co. #41, Carlisle and North Middleton Twp. Fire Company.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 17 years Leann M. (Zeigler) Jonas, one daughter Victoria Davies of Newville, four adopted brothers, Tom, Josh, Adam and Ben, three adopted sisters, Amy, Becky and Rachel, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
