Christine Lee Kegel, 57, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.  She was born on December 28, 1961 in Carlisle and is the daughter of Joan L. (Fenton) Kegel of Carlisle and the late Frederick A. Kegel.

Christine graduated from Carlisle High School with the class of 1979.  She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlisle.  Prior to her illness, Christine was very active with the family business "North Gate Antiques" which her parents founded.  She enjoyed music and camping at the Maryland Shore.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, Joseph of Carlisle, one sister, Deborah Ker of Waterville, ME and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Thomas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2019 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Dr., Carlisle with Rev. Don Bender officiating.  Viewing will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 175 Pine Street, Suite 101, Williamsport, PA 17701.  www.Since1853.com.
