Christine C. Evans, 107, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at her home. She was born on November 16, 1908 in Carlisle, and was a daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Adams) Cornman.

Christine had worked for Goodwill Industries in Carlisle for many years as a store clerk and was also a loving homemaker. She was predeceased by one daughter, Maxine Gallucci and three grandchildren; Allen Lewin, Dawn Brewster and Dominick Gallucci

She is survived by one daughter, Gwendolyn P. Lewin with whom she lived, one brother, Creedin Cornman of Carlisle, three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and other extended family members.

A viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2016 followed by funeral services at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
