Charles E. Clark, 83, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle. He was born on March 10, 1935 in Carlisle and was a son of the late Lawrence and Laura (Ettien) Clark.

Charles retired from Carlisle Container Co. where he was a truck driver. He was a member of The Lighthouse Church, Newville. Charles was a member of Carlisle Eagles 1299 and enjoyed fishing and coloring books.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Doris M. (Saphore) Clark, two sons; Tim R. Clark and Tony R. Clark both of Carlisle, one brother, Donald Clark of Carlisle, two sisters; Ruth Haskins of St. Augustine, FL and Beverly Mellott of Mt. Holly Springs, two grandsons, two great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 12 siblings.

A viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 followed by funeral services at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Craig Shambaugh officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. www.Since1853.com.
