Catherine Loraine (Drexler) Boisvert, 88, formerly of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Brookdale Grandon Farms, Mechanicsburg.  She was born January 1, 1933 in Newville and was a daughter of the late Ruth Mary (Koser) Drexler and the late William H. Drexler.

Catherine graduated from Newville High School in 1950 and retired from The Bon-Ton Store in Carlisle.  She formerly worked with Piezo Crystal Co. and The Carlisle Swim Club.  Catherine was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle and served with WELCA and the Altar Guild.  She was a member of the YWCA Mother's Club, a former volunteer with the Carlisle Hospital Auxiliary and a long-time member of The Carlisle Swim Club.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Joseph E. Boisvert, one son COL (Ret) William H. Boisvert, US Army and wife Patricia, three daughters, Yvonne J. (husband Stephen) Sultzaberger, Vicki L. O'Hanlan (husband Robert Monaghan) and Catherine M. Gulbrandsen, one sister Virginia L. Giordano, one brother Wallace W. Drexler.  In addition, Catherine is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one sister Mary L. Loy.

A memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W.
