Carol L. Vignapiano, 82, formerly of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Chambersburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on May 15, 1943, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late James W. Sanders and Dorothy (Bohn) Sander Fetters.  Carol was the widow Dennis E. Vignapiano, who passed away on July 30, 1999.

Carol graduated from Carlisle High School in 1961.  She worked for many years and retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot.  She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlisle.

She is survived by one daughter Michele B. Vignapiano of Mechanicsburg, one brother Terrence Sanders of Boiling Springs and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother Gregory Sanders.
