Carol M. (Nelson) Sampson, 64, of Dickinson Twp, Carlisle, passed away peacefullyon Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was bornon April 15, 1946 in Carlisle and wasa daughter of the late Richard F. and Lillian V. (Messimer) Nelson.

She was retired from OMEX Cleaning Service in Camp Hill.

Carol is survived byher husband , Harry Lee Sampson , three sons; Ricky L. Sampson,Terry E. Sampsonand Tim Sampson, all of Carlisle, two sisters; Shirley Richwine of Mechanicsburg and Janet Conrad of Carlisle, three brothers; Earl Renshaw of Mechanicsburg, George Tusing of Carlisle and Garry Nelson of Mt. Holly Springs, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home , 630 South Hanover Street, Carlisle. Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle at a later date.
