Carol Jumper, 81, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, unexpectedly at home.  She was born on November 18, 1942, in Bloserville and was a daughter of the late Wilbur and Janet (Piper) Lehman. Carol was the wife of Roger L. Jumper Sr. for 63 wonderful years.

Carol was a homemaker while she raised their children and then she went to work at the Carlisle Area School District as a cafeteria worker where she worked for many years.

In addition to her loving husband she is survived by two sons, Roger L. Jumper Jr. (his wife Linda) of Shippensburg and Billy Jumper (his wife Kristie) of Carlisle, two daughters, Karry Weston (her husband Michael) of Carlisle and Heather Jarusewski (her husband Scott) of Gardners, two sisters, Delores Coulson (her husband Jack) and Bonnie Mountz (her husband Curtis) both of Carlisle, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lee, Barry, Gerald, and Steve Lehman, also one sister JoAnne Palmer.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Deb Dailey in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. The burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery. www.EwingBrothers.com.
