Calvin "Chip" Alfred Barrick, Sr., 63, of Boiling Springs, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 10, 2024.

Chip was a loving husband to his wife of 32 years Audrey Barrick; devoted father of Tyler (Allison), Taylor (Sadie), and Calvin (Megan) Barrick; beloved "Pappy" of his four grandchildren Caroline, Amelia, Ronan, and Scottie Jo Barrick; son of Janet (née Riley) Barrick; brother to Darrel (Liz), Robbie (Janice), and George; and uncle to 16 nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Barrick; his brothers Dan and Doug Barrick; and his in-laws Ridgley and Lois Snyder.

Chip was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was known for his wonderful sense of humor.  He could often be found in the company of friends cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, or the Penn State Nittany Lions.  Any project his boys needed help with, Chip was always there to assist – he loved working with his hands.  Chip served in the United States Army from 1979 to 1985.

A viewing and service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home at 630 S Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. and the service will begin at 11 a.m.  www.Since1853.com.
