Brandon N. Hoover, 36, of Carlisle, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at his home. He was born on Monday, February 18, 1974, in Carlisle, and is a son of Janet L. (North) Hoover of Carlisle and Barry N. Hoover, Sr. of Newville.

Brandon graduated from Big Spring High School, Newville and loved fishing, music and all animals.

In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by three brothers; Barry N. Hoover, Jr. of Carlisle, Bradley N. Hoover, Sr. of Westminster, MD and Brett N. Hoover of Carlisle, a sister, Lora L. Dupert of Shippensburg, a half-sister, Jennifer A. Orner of Newville, his paternal grandfather, Mac L. Hoover of Newville, his step-mother, Virginia E. Hoover of Newville,a step-sister, Denise Morrison, a step-brother, Donald Wertand several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Chaplain Bradley V. Moore officiating. Burial will be in Newville Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until time of the services.
