Brandon Edward Decker Skiles, 33, of Bethlehem and formerly of Shippensburg, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in Bethlehem. He was born on February 13, 1985 in McConnellsburg and was a son of Lisa A. (Carriero) and her husband, James D. Skiles of Newville and Jeffrey Decker and his companion, Vicki Sharrow of Gaylord, MI.
Brandon was a 2003 Shippensburg High School graduate and attended Harrisburg Area Community College. He worked as a Superintendant with Skiles Excavating Inc. in Newville. Brandon served several years with the Army National Guard and was a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church in Shippensburg.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Jesica and her husband, Adam Kuhn of Shippensburg, one brother, Tanner Skiles of Shippensburg, grandmothers; Rita Carriero and Jean Davis, one niece, Lucille Kuhn, his girlfriend, Emily Edinger of Bethlehem and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 in the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Dr., Carlisle with Rev. Martin O. Moran officiating. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
