Blevens L. "Blev" Zinn, 71, of Newburg, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at home.  He was born on February 27, 1954, in Carlisle and was a son of the late Clarence and Pauline (Stone) Zinn.

Blev graduated from Big Spring High School with the class of 1973.  He was a farmer all his life.  He raised beef cattle and grew corn and hay.  He hunted and enjoyed going to the family camp in Potter County.  Blev recently retired from Dream Farms in Newburg, PA.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years Debra (Dyarman) Zinn, two brothers, Merle and Garnet Zinn, three sisters, Brenda Kay Sigler, Nina Zinn and Lois West, two stepsons, Justin (wife Lori) Carpenter and Derrick (wife Dessie) Carpenter, three step-granddaughters, three step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one daughter Laura Michele Zinn.

A viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Michael Tichnell officiating.  The burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Big Spring Future Farmers of America, C/O Donna Minnich – Big Spring High School, 45 Mt.
