Blaine E. Clepper, 79, of Newville, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at home. He was born on August 23, 1939 in Boiling Springs and was a son of the late George Joseph Clepper and Mary Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Clepper. Blaine was married to the late Barbara A. (Mellott) Clepper, who passed away on August 28, 2010.

Blaine was a truck driver for many years with the former Byers Lumber Co. in Carlisle. He also worked for Fisher Auto Parts and Carlisle Container. In his younger years, Blaine enjoyed fishing, drag racing and CB radio.

He is survived by three sons; Thomas E. Clepper (and his companion, Tracy Copeland) of Carlisle, Joel L. Clepper (and his wife, Lorraine) of Harrisburg and Timothy A. Clepper of St. Thomas, one sister, Fern Riggleman of Carlisle, three grandsons, one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Art, Mel and Lute Clepper.

Services and burial will be privately held in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is handling the arrangements. www.Since1853.com .
