Billy William R. Capshaw, 77, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was born on July 7, 1941 in Smart Station, TN and was the son of the late Waymon and Ruby (Reed) Capshaw.

Billy was a 1959 graduate of Carlisle High School and retired from the former Kinney Shoe Corp. in Carlisle as a supervisor with nearly 40 years of service. Billy was a member of the Carlisle Gun Club and a life member of the Mechanicsburg Sportsman Club.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Nancy L. (Jacoby) Capshaw, three daughters; Kimberly Jacoby of Carlisle, Sheryl Miller of Mt. Holly Springs and Lori Watts Myers of Mobile, AL, five grandchildren and one niece. He was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Zeigler.

A viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 followed by funeral services and 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor Dave Herr officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. www.Since1853.com
