Betty A. Gsell, 79, of Carlisle, died on Friday, January 22, 2021 at ManorCare Health Services in Carlisle.  She was born on March 4, 1941 in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Paul F. Trayer, Sr. and Helen M. (Mellinger) Trayer.  Betty was the widow of Richard Gsell who died in 1989.

Betty had worked nine years for Oak Frequency in Mt. Holly Springs.  She also did private commercial cleaning in the Carlisle area for Jackie Powell.  Betty was proud that she earned her GED diploma.  She was a member of the Eagles Aerie 1299 Ladies Auxiliary, Carlisle.

She is survived by one daughter Tracy L. Wallace and her fiancé Scott Strawser of Dillsburg, one son Mark A. Stouch, one brother Paul Trayer, Jr. of Carlisle, two grandsons, Logan and Duncan Wallace.  She was preceded in death by one sister Joan Bouder.

Graveside services will be private in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements.  www.Since1853.com.
