Betty M. Brehm, 87, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at UPMC-Pinnacle Carlisle. She was born on June 19, 1930 in Shirleysburg, Huntingdon County and was a daughter of the late Cyril H. and Clara M. (McKim) Lightner and was the widow of Boyd Stanley Brehm who passed away on January 27, 1998.

Betty graduated from the former Blaine Vocational High School in Perry County. She retired as a map technician with the former Stoner Associates and had worked nine years with the former Reeves-Hoffman Co. both of Carlisle. She was of Lutheran faith.

She is survived by one son, Stanley Lee "Bud" (wife, Kimberly) Brehm of Carlisle, three daughters; Shirley Bowermaster of Dickson, TN, Sandy (husband, Steve) Brymesser of Newville and Terrie (husband, Dennis) Coy of Carlisle, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, Jean Greising, the longtime companion to deceased daughter, Judy Brehm and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and daughter, Betty was preceded in death by one brother, Howard V. Lightner and one sister, Sylvia Martin.
