Betty L. Albright, 98, of Carlisle, died on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Church of God Home, Carlisle.  She was born on May 4, 1926, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late James and Clara (Stum) Mitten and the widow of Lee R. Albright who died in 2014.

Betty attended Carlisle schools.  She retired from Cumberland County Nursing Home after 30 years of service as a nurse's aide.  Betty was a member of the LeTort United Methodist Church, Carlisle.

She is survived by two sons, Lee L. (Ruth) Albright, Carlisle and Steven L. (Sharon) Albright of Shermansdale, three daughters, Audrey E. (Eugene) E. Stull of Chambersburg, C. Jennifer (Alan) Mills of Carlisle and Janice Albright Witmer of Carlisle, two sisters, Frances Stambaugh and Joan Mitten both of Carlisle, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Betty was preceded in death by one brother James Mitten and one sister Janet Marshall.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Kim Kelley officiating.  The burial will be private at LeTort Cemetery, Carlisle.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
