Bernard L. Dickman, 88, of Carlisle,formerly of Rebersburg, PA, died Saturday, 20 September 2014.

Born 27 June 1926 in Altoona, PA, Bernard was a veteran of World War II, serving 20 years in the United States Army, retiring in 1964. He had a second career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Alda (Breon) Dickman and three sons,Dale(and wife Teresa) ofHouston, TX; Bruce (Marcia) of Elizabeth City, NC; Clifford (Patricia) of Carlisle; one brother, Ronnie of Altoona, PA;seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

AMemorial Service will beheld 11am on Tuesday, 23 September 2014 at Chapel Pointe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Veterans organization.
