Benjamin James Ritter, 32, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of his big brother Jason on Monday, January 21, 2019.  He was born on September 13, 1986 in Carlisle and is a son of Larry R. Ritter of Carlisle and Candi (Decker) Yinger of Shippensburg.

Benjamin graduated from Carlisle High school in 2005 and where he played football for 5 years.  Ben was close to graduating from U.T.I. in Exton just prior to an accident 12 years ago.  He enjoyed snowboarding, BMX bike riding, country music and spending time with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Isabel L. Karper of Carlisle and several aunts and uncles.  Benjamin was predeceased by his older brother, Jason Ritter and his grandfathers; Benjamin Ritter and James E. Decker.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, PA 17013 to help with Benjamin's funeral expenses.  www.Since1853.com.
