Barbara Negley Beinhower, 69, of Carlisle, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at home with family by her side. She was born on August 3, 1946 in Lower Frankford Twp, a daughter of the late Robert W. and Florence I. (Miller) Negley.

Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Big Spring High School, Newville. She retired after 29 years of service with Tyson Food in Lancaster. Barbara attended Bloserville Gods Missionary Church.

She is survived by one sister, Connie M. (husband, John) Gayman, three brothers; Wayne R. (wife, Vonnie) Negley, Richard E. (wife, Sandra) Negley and Harvey G. (wife, Ann) Miller, all of Carlisle and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, one brother, Harry J. Negley and one sister, Martha I. Growden.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Rev. Ken Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
