Auguste Christine LaValle, 80, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2015 at her home. She was born on Jan. 30, 1935 in Giessen, Germany, a daughter of the late Ernst and Margarethe Brueck, and was the widow of Patsy T. LaValle, who died Nov. 29, 2006.

Christine graduated from high school in Germany. She retired after many years of service with the Best Western, Carlisle, where she was the banquet coordinator.

She is survived by one son, Joseph T. LaValle, Carlisle, one daughter, Debra C. (husband, Larry, Jr.) Roadcap of Carlisle, one brother, Ernst Brueck, three sisters; Lilo Wolf, Christa Keuntye and Ursula Riedel, one Goddaughter, Cornelia, three grandsons; Bradly Roadcap, Brandon Roadcap and Larry Roadcap, III, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Bruno Brueck.

Services and interment will be private at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
