Anna Mary Wilson, 98, of Carlisle, passed to eternal life on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at home with family by her side.  She was born on July 11, 1924, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Richard A. Johnson and Anna Mary (Andrews) Johnson.  Anna was the widow of Frank James Wilson who passed away on June 26, 1969.

Anna graduated from Carlisle High School and attended the Carlisle Commercial College.  She retired from the PA State Liquor Control Board and formerly worked at Piezo Crystal Co. in Carlisle.  Anna was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlisle, the American Business Women's Club, the Golden Girls, and the National Council of Catholic Women.

She is survived by one son Frank James Wilson, Jr. of Chandler, AZ, one daughter Nedra L. Smith of Carlisle, three grandsons, Michael E. Smith, Jr. of Carlisle, Sean P. Smith of London, UK and Timothy F. Smith of Carlisle, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Don Bender as the officiant.  Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Carlisle.  www.Since1853.com.
