Anna R. (Shughart) Myers, 85, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the Premier Washington Health Center in Washington, PA. She was born on May 28, 1932 in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Fred H. Shughart and Ruth A. (Miller) Shughart. She was the widow of Paul A. Myers, who passed away on July 25, 2003.

Anna retired from the Thornwald Home in Carlisle after many years of service as nurse's aide. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by one step-son, Mark S. (wife, Lisa) Myers of Carlisle, one granddaughter, Ashley M. (husband, Chad) Stauffer, two brothers; Larry Shughart of Carlisle and Herbert Shughart of Blain, two sisters; Phyllis Rynard of Carlisle and Dorothy Wolf of Shippensburg and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Fred and Paul Shughart and one sister, Mary Finkenbinder.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Mira Hewlett officiating. Burial will be in Salem Stone Church Cemetery, Carlisle. www.Since1853.com .
