Anna E. Landis, 75, of Carlisle, died Thursday, June 3, 2010, in Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle. She was born on Thursday, January 31, 1935, in Loysville, a daughter of the late Mitchell E. and Leah B. (Kuhn) Seidel and the widow of Richard L. Landis, who died June 30, 1998.

Anna was a 1952 graduate of the former Blain Union High School. She was employed at the Officers Club at the Carlisle Barracks for 34 years, and also worked at the former Carlisle Shoe Factory. Anna was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Carlisle.

She is survived by one stepson, Charles M. Gehr of Carlisle, one brother, Merle Seidel of Blain, a dear friend, Janice Sale of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by one brother and nine sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Edward D'Agostino officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service.
