Obituary

Ana Maria Nallar, 69, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025.

Ana was born on December 23,1955 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She was the daughter of the late Gonzalo Vaca and Rafaela Vaca-Parada. Being the oldest of six children, she learned the importance of caring for family at a young age.

Throughout the years, Ana touched the hearts of everyone with her warm smile, and nurturing personality. She was the type of person who never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. She was the matriarch of our family, and her legacy lives through us. She was deeply loved by her family and friends.

Above all things, she was known for being thoughtful and kind to others. Ana demonstrated an inspirational commitment to faith and prayer. She loved caring for her granddaughters. Ana said that her favorite role in life was being a grandma. She spent majority of her life taking care of others. She was known for her delicious cooking.

She is survived by her daughter Alejandra Slaughter and her son-in-law Todd Slaughter of Boiling Springs, PA and two granddaughters, Sophia Slaughter and Chloe Slaughter of Boiling Springs, sisters, Martha Quiroga of Silver Spring, MD, sisters-in-law, Naife Nallar of Bolivia, Miriam Nallar of Boston and Blanca Nallar of Boston, three brothers, Florencio Vaca of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Osvaldo Vaca of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and Jorge Vaca of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and many other relatives.  She was preceded in death by her husband Faisal Nallar and one brother, Ricardo Vaca.

A private service will be held for Ana's close family and friends on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Carlisle United Methodist Church. www.EwingBrothers.com.
