Alan Eugene Keeney, 63, of Carlisle, died on Friday, February 26, 2021 at his home.  He was born on July 4, 1957 in Hanover, PA. and was a son of the late John David Keeney and Anna Marie (Hertz) Keeney.

Alan attended Carlisle High School and would have graduated with the Class of 1976, however, Alan instead elected to obtain his GED and join the Army to proudly serve his country. He was a US Army veteran. Alan was a long-time employee of Cumberland Masonry Inc. (CMI) of Lemoyne as a Concrete Finisher. He found much pleasure in doing quality work for the homeowners to enjoy for many years to come. Alan enjoyed a simple life and spent as much quality time as possible with his family and friends. He was a modest and humble man. If you knew Alan, you loved him as he was a very generous and always cared for others before his self.

He is survived by one brother Eugene S. (Terri) Keeney of Carlisle, one sister JoAnn K. Keeney of Carlisle, one sister-in-law Mary Keeney, five nieces, Tawnia Perkey, Jessica Smith, Kristine Deitz, Courtney Danilowicz and Ryan Nickel and one nephew Shane Lucas.  Alan was preceded in death by one brother Robert A. Keeney.
