Agathi retired after many years of service with the Hamilton Restaurant, Carlisle. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Camp Hill and the Neohoriton Society.
She is survived by her loving children; Kathy Spanos, Olga Zarkadas (and husband, George), Nick C. Spanos, Athan C. Spanos (and wife, Mary), all of Carlisle and Alexandria Savolidis (and husband, James) of Greece, eleven grandchildren; Vickie and George Savolidis, Johnathan, Althea Marie, Kosta, Athan and Alicia Spanos, Penny Petsinis, Althea McGuire and Athan and Chrisa Zarkadas and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many other extended family members in the U. S. and Greece, including; sister-in-law, Angie Spanos and niece, Caliopi Pappas, both of Carlisle.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2012, from 2 - 4:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, and where a Trisagion service will be held at 3 p.m. with Father Kosta Petrogeorge officiating. Burial will be in Neohorion Cemetery, Neohorion, Nafpaktias, Greece at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Dr., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
